<title>Ordnance Survey Copyright</title>
<link>http://nottinghamtravelwise.org.uk/siteNews/article/40/Ordnance-Survey-Copyright/</link>
<description>
		[Archive news post]
		For clarity's sake, I would like to point out that none of the data used for mapping at Nottingham Travelwise has been derived from any Ordnance Survey dataset. Locations have been calculated using freely available Tele Atlas-based (Google Map) tools.

		This uses a flexible in-house geocoding interface, available to the outside world in order to comply with Google's own terms &amp; conditions.

			Today sees the release of a brand new feature - one which, hopefully, will propagate the realtime information provided by Nottingham Travelwise even further.
			This feature is customisable embedded maps, designed for you to use on your own website or blog with a simple &lt;iframe&gt; element. Support is on-hand for any problems you might encounter, so why not give it a try?

			Unfortunately, our Highways Agency data feed has failed; this is due to a hardware failure at their end. For the next couple of hours, the system will be unavailable. Apologies for the inconvenience this causes.
			Update at 14:07: The problem has now been resolved.

<title>Website and CCTV outage</title>
<link>http://nottinghamtravelwise.org.uk/siteNews/article/37/Website-and-CCTV-outage/</link>
<description>
			We today experienced one hour failure on website and CCTV functions, due to multiple power failures throughout the night. Interestingly, it was the uninterruptible power supply which controls our main network switch that went down.
			All systems are now restored, and apologies for any trouble this may have caused.
