<title>Congestion data offline for 1 week</title>
<link>http://nottinghamtravelwise.org.uk/headlines/article/55/Congestion-data-offline-for-1-week/</link>
<description>
			The Traffic Control Centre's main computer system - that which controls the traffic signals - has recently been upgraded. Whilst this should herald more consistent performance in the long run, it has caused the congestion monitoring function of Travelwise to break; a software fix is on the way, but probably won't be here until March 5th 2010. </description>

<link>http://nottinghamtravelwise.org.uk/headlines/article/54/Radford-Road-closure-Southbound-from-Selhurst-Street-to-Gregory-Boulevard--17.1.10/</link>
<description>
			Advance notification of a road closure on Radford Road Southbound.
			The closures will run from 4AM Sunday 17th January 2010 for 10 weeks, whilst major work is undertaken on the traffic signals at Gregory Boulevard/Radford Road crossroads. This will involve carriageway resurfacing and replacement of all signals.
			There will be three way temporary traffic signals operating at this junction, so we advise that wherever possible motorists use an alternative route.

<title>Upper Parliament Street - now fully open, 19.11.09</title>
<link>http://nottinghamtravelwise.org.uk/headlines/article/52/Upper-Parliament-Street---now-fully-open--19.11.09/</link>
<description>
			We have just had notification of an urgent roadworks event on Upper Parliament Street, between Maid Marian Way and South Sherwood Street.This Eastbound section of road will be closed from 10:00AM, Monday 2nd November, for an indeterminate length of time. This is due to a serious failure in the sewer system underneath the carriageway giving a high risk of subsidence.
			A diversion will be in place for Eastbound traffic, from Wollaton Street (Canning Circus) via Talbot Street.
			This news post will be updated with the most recent developments as they become available; we hope to have a timescale for the works as soon as investigations into the severity of the failure are completed, on late Monday afternoon. Update, 11/11/09:Final confirmation on a completion date has been set at Friday 20th November. Works are expected to finish on Wednesday 18th November, with the extra 2 days usable in contingency. Drivers are urged to use the Talbot Street diversion route, as Maid Marian Way, Canal Street and Huntingdon Street have been extremely busy due to these works. Update, 19/11/09:Work has now been completed, and Upper Parliament Street is now open.
